12th Annual National Family Day

Honored American Veterans Afield (HAVA) and the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) will host the 12th Annual HAVA National Family Day. With the collective support of 100+ Volunteers and supporting organizations, American military families will enjoy a day of events, gifts, food, and good fellowship among others rebuilding their lives after being wounded in service to our country.

The event focuses on supporting post-9/11 wounded / injured U.S. veterans and wounded / injured active duty military and their immediate families, who are invited to partake in the festivities. All disabled veteran participants will receive a backpack full of prize goodies.

Activities will include, but are not limited to:

• Several shooting events with products from leading firearms manufactures, including a variety of traditional and new weapons and adaptive devises
• Shooting Sports Exhibition with Pro Shooters
• Kids zone, complete with air-soft and bounce houses
• Lunch provided
• Evening dinner provided, complete with Raffle Prizes

HAVA and SAPD look forward to sharing this special day, and celebrating 12 years of this collaboration!

*In an effort to provide the best service to you, please have the primary guest in your family bring one of the following forms of ID with them: Active Duty or Retired DOD Card, VA ID Card, or DD-214 with Honorable Service. All guests 18 and over are REQUIRED by our host facility to provide state issued identification to participate.
